For this assignment I had to take several pictures which captured the beauty of architecture. I took pictures inside and outside of Saline High School. The assignment dictates that the pictures must follow the basic elements of composition, and be overall a high quality. Posted below is what I believe to be my best picture and a slide-show of my top 11 pictures. My best picture is a picture of the office side entrance to Saline High School.

Technical Data:ISO: 100
Aperture: F/4.5
Shutter Speed: 1/60 second
The school is a good choice for architecture. It has some great places to look at like the 1st floor entrance and the poolside entrance. My favorite picture out of the slide show would be the last one because it has a great view of the school.
ReplyDeleteyour pictures are good, the lighting is good and focus is normally good. the only thing I would change about your slide show is the fact that all of your pictures are of the school. One or two pictures of the school are okay and they might be okay to all be pictures of the school if your audience was people who didn't know the school and see it every day; this is my first year here and I didn't have to think for more than a second about where any of your photos were taken. the thing if I noticed about your main picture was that the wall behind the curve isn't in amazing focus but really it doesn't need to be, just to my eye it seems that the wall should be in more focus. This could be done with a smaller aperture hole.
ReplyDeleteI like the main picture, it's a little blurry, but the shot is very good. You should have had more diversity in your pictures though, not just ones of the school.
ReplyDeleteI like the architecture pictures, and how there are so many things being shown in your #1 photo. It has windows, then the main focus is on the beams going above the sidewalk ( I don't know what to call them). Very nice photos!
