Gimp V: Context Assignment

I was assigned to take pictures around my school and add things that would not normally be seen at school to change the context. To edit the picture I used Gimp. In gimp I used the crop, lasso, move, saturate, and colorize tools to make it seem like the out of context image fit into the background image. Attached below is the edited picture.

Gimp IV: Portrait Demo

For this assignment I took portrait pictures in the studio using studio lighting, and in the hall using a light bounce card. The studio portrait involved using key, fill, hair, and background lights. The hall portrait involved using a light bounce card to reflect the light from a window onto the subjects face. Using gimp I complied the two portrait images into one file and added borders around them and a background. Below is the resulting image.
